New Firefox a window into our privacy?

Firefox Prefs change. Some users fear compromise of data.
The site contains an article which describes changes you might want to
make and gives a .pref file that seem to avoid data compromise.

Also please recall that "excellent web-resource for optimizing and
speeding-up recent versions of the popular Ubuntu-based and
systemd-containing Linux Mint and *buntus is the Easy Linux tips project"
I specifically mentioned at the bottom of my 'SF-LUG meeting notes for
Monday, 18 June 2018' post [2]. That direct link is at [3] below.
One of that Easy Linux tips project's[3] links is to 'Firefox: optimize
its settings' [4].
Maybe some of the FF steps here [4] will help until the next time in the
near future that the Mozilla Inc devs "improve the user experience" (and
thus **break**!) the FF fixes described here upon the request of their
sponsors.

Cat and Mouse.
