The virtual machine (win) and physical (Linux) are two separate ones, and
as such - need separate IPs. Go into the VM's network settings and do one
ofhe following: change the network to NAT, in which VBox runs a virtual
dhcp, assigns an ip to the vm and routes it outside, or change it to
'bridged' and assign it with a new ip (0.103, for example).
In NAT you are behind routing, so the vm is accessible from outside without
further tinkering, whereas 'bridged' means I is on the network as any other
machine.
