Alex, don't mess with your xorg.conf file. Ernest's recommendations below
are probably really sound, but he might not know your skill level, but I
have a better feel for it, since you came over to the school the other day
(and thanks for that). You and I are at a comparable skill level, and I
would recommend that you not try to mess with it, but get some help in
person at the next LUG meeting.
