hi <br><br>Alex, don't mess with your xorg.conf file. Ernest's recommendations below are probably really sound, but he might not know your skill level, but I have a better feel for it, since you came over to the school the other day (and thanks for that). You and I are at a comparable skill level, and I would recommend that you not try to mess with it, but get some help in person at the next LUG meeting.

This is a known bug that has to do with the nvidia driver. I'm assuming you have an nvidia card? Use the restricted modules manager to enable the restricted nvidia driver. Reboot. If that doesn't immediately fix it, then add the following to the 'Screen' section of your
