Principle Solutions Architect, San Francisco, CA | 120-140k

Salary: 120-140k plus benefits, bonus and stock

Job Description

·Responsible for delivering post sales and project management services to
F1000.
·Provide hands on service oriented application development skills to deliver
LAMP based solutions
·Provide engagement management services on multiple, concurrent engagements
with SI Partners.
·Participate in the formal requirements definition phase and the correct
translation of these requirements into project deliverables (in compliance
with corporate project lifecycle standards).
·Responsible for project planning and tracking progress of the development
team against that plan.
·Identify risks to the project plan, establish mitigation plans and work
with management to implement these mitigations to ensure successful
application deployments.
·Manage local and remote resources to assist in delivery project or platform
requirements.
·Provide technical leadership to customer project teams. Effectively
navigate complex client relationships to achieve specific engagement and
overall client project objectives.
·Understand F1000 business application requirements and industry specific
solutions.
·Complete all stages of the delivery process, including requirements/design,
development, deployment, customization, training and knowledge transfer to
client of partner.
·Identify additional opportunities for business through extension of
existing work or through new work within existing accounts.

Qualifications/Necessary Skills

·10+ years enterprise technical experience, minimum of 5 years experience
performing complex software deployments in a services role for a software or
major consulting company.
·Hands-on experience with web-services and knowledge of web services
standards.
·Understand and have experience in project development, lifecycles,
methodologies, and scoping.
·Experience creating statements of work that are accurately scoped and
estimated.
·Programming skills in Java and in-depth knowledge of J2EE and related
specifications is required.
·Knowledge of internet protocols; HTTP, SSL, and SOAP/XML-RPC/Web Services.
·Knowledge of software architectures; J2EE, Linux, Apache, XML, identity,
and security.
·Experience with enterprise applications (eg. ERP, HR, CRM, expense
management, payroll, banking).
·Database/integration skills including competency in Oracle, DB2, SAP, SQL.
·Exposure to open source technologies such as PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby and
MySQL.
·Ability to collaborate with team members to resolve systems and product
related issues.
·Communicate regularly with sales, management, engineering and other
relevant teams regarding project status, issues and product effectiveness
and customer feedback.
·Strong presentation/white boarding skills; must be able to technically lead
development discussions.
·Team oriented spirit and ability to leverage field and corporate resources
successfully.
·Develop and share best services practices and contribute to knowledge
sharing among team members.
·Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
·Moderate to heavy travel as required in support of sales activities and
events.
