The J&J has an ultra rare side-effect. It can cause thrombocytopenia
syndrome, which can impair clotting and cause internal bleeding. The
highest risk is for childbearing age women. It is related to an Adenovirus
vector protein attaching to Platelet factor 4  (pf4).
Pf4 is a cytokine involved in blood clotting.
A similar syndrome is caused by heparin.
