Quoting Bobbie S from [01]:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aaron C. wants to alter the Finnix CD to include some extra directories
and Michael and Tom I believe were advising him when I left about 12:59
only raising my voice to say Bye.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

FWIW, the intended purpose of altering "the Finnix CD to include some
extra directories" was to install additional text-based apps that were
neither included in the default Finnix package list[02] nor in
Finnix/Debian's 'rover' utility[03]. E.g., additional apps such as
emacs-nox[04] -- realizing of course about the continual vi/vim vs emacs
debates for some of you vi/vim purists ;-) --, a text-based PDF reader,
and one or two more text-based web-browsers in addition to both the
default w3m[05] and whatever else is currently listed in 'rover'.
After going through Finnix Documentation webpages in [06], it didn't make
further sense to proceed with mounting additional directories in the
Finnix virtualbox .vdi I created for 1) perhaps running 'apt install' to
temporarily install such apps as the above or 2) going overboard by
creating an overlay or complete remastering of the Finnix CD.

Besides, quoting from the Finnix Hard drive installation webpage[07]:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...fundamentally, Finnix is a utility CD. It works great for what it is
designed to do, but in the end, it is just not meant to be run as a
permanent installation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Therefore, I've found (at least for myself) that there is no current
use-case scenario for running the Finnix CD as a virtualbox guest, this as
opposed to using an actual CD or USB as a live-booting Finnix system or
else just simply running any additionally-desired text-based apps
_directly_ on a virtualbox host system :-|

Also quoting Bobbie S from [01]:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Celebrate the Vernal Equinox on Saturday the 20th of March and Holi on the
28th of March.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

According to the March Equinox 2021 Countdown webpage[08], the exact time
of the Vernal Equinox is Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:37:31 am (San
Francisco time).

According to Jewish webpage[09] -- but whose listing has been apparently
discontinued in Rick M's Bay Area Linux Events page[10] -- that "Holi on
the 28th of March" is Passover and it actually falls out at sundown on
Saturday, the 27th of March.
