[sf-lug] What about the July 5th Meeting? plus some plans

HI LUGers,

     Well I have seen no announcements about the meeting online
this Sunday?  Is one planned?


     In further news due to the problems with distribution and 
transportation of the paper copies of Linux Pro Magazine I
have subscribed to the digital editions.  I wish I could send
copies to all the members but that would be Piracy.
     So I will try to move copies to my old tablet and let people
see them when we have meetings again.

     What have you been doing to kill time under the Covid-19
protocols?

     I have been playing Angband first on Mageia in VirtualBox
and currently on MX Linux on VirtualBox.   I have set up a
number of distros on the E7450 to run in VirtualBox as well.
That will be the machine I bring to the meetings in the future
if the Covid goes away or a vaccine is developed.  It is light
enough I can carry it in a shoulder bag.

     Mageia had a problem with Locking the Keyboard and the directions
for fixing it actually reset PCLinuxOS 64 so that I cannot use
that Virtual Mageia.  Going to have to recreate it.

     Well I hope we have a meeting of some sort on Sunday.
If it was not the holiday I would suggest maybe if Jitsi or Zoom
not happening a meeting with mask in a public park with picnic
benches and tables.  Since it is a holiday weekend those facilities
will be in short supply.
