I've been trying to coax along that perception for long years.
At this point, I think nslookup is entrenched only among a few 
SunOS and AIX users and, of course, Microsoft Windows people, 
because to my knowledge dig/host/whois still aren't bundled in
(let alone delv), whereas nslookup is.

It's a zombie.
