Yes, that is correct.
Another option still existing AFAIK is VOID LINUX which I 'believe' you are
familiar with
and 'may' have actually already played with.
Here are their sys. req.'s for i686 I have pasted directly from the VOID
site:
The i686 images have these requirements:
- Pentium 4 CPU (SSE2), 96MB RAM, 350MB disk, Ethernet / WiFi for
network installation.
Log in as anon/root, password voidlinux.
To start the installer just execute the *void-installer* utility with
enough permissions (i.e *sudo*).
Additional live images with *flavours* (an additional Desktop Environment
with autologin) are also available:
- Enlightenment
- Cinnamon
- LXDE
- MATE
- XFCE
These images need at least 256 or 512 MB of RAM in order to work correctly.
