Great! Well-worth being boastful about this, IMO.

In addition, and if you (Hauke L) and your LPD organizers aren't
already keenly aware of this, you might also wish to
follow-though your promotional efforts at San Francisco's
internationally renown Noisebridge hackerspace [2]. Although SF-LUG
does claim to "support the Noisebridge Linux Discussion meeting when
it happens...", see the 'Projects' section of [3], at the same time
I think you'd be better off contacting Noisebridge _directly_
regarding your proposed twice-a-year one-off LPD events.
You can do this by visiting, joining, and then posting to the
Noisebridge-discuss mailing list through here[4] using the same
method you've already carried out for SF-LUG's mailing list
through [5]. A sample Noisebridge-discuss list event proposal is
here[6] --- that particular event uses Meetup.com * --- and there
is a good and brief(!) Noisebridge-discuss thread here[7] showing
Noisebridge founder Mitch Altman's recommendations for visiting
the hackerspace beforehand in person.

You're welcome! ;->

* A reminder here of Rick M's insightful and critical essay
'Meetup: The Good, the Bad, and the Policy' [8].
