The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD) will be holding the following meeting:

  Monday
  January 18, 2016
  7:00pm - 9:00pm

Presentation:
  Using Code Blocks for C++ Development
  presented by Brian Lavender

    We will explore using Code::Blocks <http://www.codeblocks.org/> for C++
    development.  It is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for writing
    C and C++ programs.  It can use either the GNU C++ compiler or the more
    recent Clang compiler.  It provides code syntax highlighting,
    context sensitive suggestions, and a symbol tree among some of its features.
    We will also see about creating a simple application using the WxWidgets
    library, a cross-platform GUI library.

Also:
  This meeting marks LUGOD's 17th birthday. Join us for cake, pizza,
  and free give-away prizes!
