[sf-lug] Problem with Kate

     Kate is an editor and suddenly it stopped responding to the
keyboard delete, cursor, and backspace keys.
     These keys work in every other editor and word processor
I use.
     I have twice removed kate and reinstalled it.
     The first time that is all I did.  The second time
I manually deleted the directories that had to do with
kate before re-installation.
     Still have the same problem.

     Any ideas?
