     On another mailing list my online friend and web administrator 
posted this.

"On an active site basis, the nginx story is even more impressive.
According to Netcraft, nginx is now the second most popular web server
for active sites, coming in at a 12.18 percent share. Following very
closely behind is Microsoft at 12.14 percent. The leader in terms of
active sites remains the open source Apache web server at 57.93 percent."
