hi

* No camera today (I totally don't have time today, but next week I may)

Okay, I will bring the camera today, but I am just going to do my own video
blog before the class, and I will have the camera packed up by the time that
class starts.

Please keep in mind that we are rapidly losing light as the sun slides
toward winter. It is getting darker early at a very rapid pace. It would
be a shame to lose footage about this class due to lack of natural light.

This is an example of what I meant by problems with both being a part of the
community and documenting the community. We have spent a lot of time
editing video recently and getting it up onto the Internet Archive's Digital
Tipping Point Video Collection, and that has left less time for homework. I
do lots of other FOSS volunteer work, and it really consumes my time. Plus,
I suck at math, and that makes it a little more difficult to complete the
work. Nonetheless, I always do the reading, even if I have trouble with the
exercised.   :-)

My video blog might be the only video that I get about this class, which
would be a shame. So the camera will be there, but will be in the bag, as I
will be video blogging before class.

Yeah, this is a really good class!
