[sf-lug] field trip to Untangle--Wednesday late AM

    I'm going to Untangle's crib this Wednesday for
a noon demo of their gateway software (andrew
brought copies to the last SF-LUG meeting).
    You wanna me pick you up and take you along?
Respond. Offer good for San Francisco and
upper peninsula (i.e. between SF and San Mateo).
    lemme know by 9:30 AM Wednesday, 8/1.

    Their product is linux-based and sits on a
dedicated box to provide a gateway with a
fair amount of security software and support
for standard services. They claim this is open
source stuff they've integrated together to
make for easier config and management as
well as performance much faster than a box
with the same open source software not
integrated. I'm interested in understanding
their approach to integration and get a feel
for using it.
    Untangle will have a booth at LinuxWorld
Expo (LW E).
    Untangle will likely have another demo a
week or so after LW E.
