[sf-lug] installfest/pclinuxos/sf-lug membership

Went to Menlo Park on Sat. for the installfest (thanks to Rick for hosting, and thanks for posting public transit info on the CABAL web page). Lots of accumulated knowledge and experience there among the attendees, and I tried to soak up as much as I could. Also watched a few installs. Sunday a.m. I did a pclinuxos install on my new laptop. Hooked up the dsl modem and found my connection had been turned on early - so was happy about that! Had tweaked my firewall beforehand - thanks to all who replied to my original firewall question.
Jim, I'll make a point of only using my lycos account to communicate w/ sf-lug. This is the acc't from which I originally joined sf-lug several months ago, so there should be no more confusion in the future. Sorry for the mix-up.
