He had a detached retina and prednisone is a steroid which will cause some
swelling. But not that much. However, being literally face down for the
first 7 full days will cause facial swelling. And to top it off on Jan 4th
we schedule for the other eye to be done because my husband can't do
anything 1/2 way.
