FYI, they are now both working now after I installed
linux-backports-modules-wireless-2.6.32-22-generic on my updated Lucid
machine.  $15.99 + tax & shipping for the Edimax is a pretty good
deal.  I'll work on making sure it is fully functional but it works at
802.11g speeds no problem.
