I missed the part about my servers' setup. I was lazy and used
NetworkManager to set static IPv4 & IPv6 addresses rather than
setting up a proper /etc/network/interfaces config like I used to
do. My "server" is more of a desktop PC these days.
Not much to it:
$ nmcli c show wired-192 | egrep 'ipv[46].(address|dns:)'
ipv4.dns: 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4
