I'm amused but not too surprised.  This means, of course, that the rare
candidate who really _is_ someone with a Feb. 29 birthday is going to
get endlessly hassled if he/she answers honestly.  

As to you, obviously the amusement value of providing a real but
not-yours birthday that they then (erronously) reject as impossible
doesn't justify having to deal with calendar illiteracy.  So, Don't Do
That, Then.  Pick some other date that amuses you, like Pearl Harbor
Day, Halloween, or whatever tickles your sense of humour.
