Yes, but I think you're ignoring my point:  You were inviting people to
help install Ubuntu onto the _school's_ computers.  It's nice that you
were also willing (though you didn't say so in your announcement) to
conduct something approaching a real installfest, if anyone had shown
up expecting one.  But that wasn't what you were aiming to run -- yet
you felt free to borrow the term, in reference to what you were aiming
to run.
