Find out whether NetZero can offer you IMAP e-mail service instead of POP3
e-mail service. In all likelihood, they don't do that, in which case you
need to change the preferences in every E-mail program that you use to
leave the messages on the server. How you do this depends on the
individual e-mail program. Note that doing this may or may not violate
your terms of service from NetZero.
