So Yoper found the "tg3" all by itself?

Ahh, sounds like it will look much nicer at 1280x800,
you get that real "wide-screen" feel and can have all
your xterms standing side by side.

On ubuntu there's "laptop mode" I tried it for a while.
It spins down the drive, and the disks are mounted with
a long journaling delay so they don't spin up much.
Still, I can't remember at the moment what the commands
were to get it going, as I haven't used it much.
USB puppy sounds like a better option, I should give
that a try :)
