I know several of you aren't working right now. For those of you who  
are, please ignore this.

I've been told about several positions that I can't take.

Mid-level QA, essential skills are C, C++, and Python. If you've got  
some Python and Linux experience (and some other software engineering  
experience), I'd say go for it.
