Subject: Corel Linux on an ASUS T2-RS?

Hi guys,

I recently purchased an ASUS T2-R (Std) from Central
Computers in Newark. I am trying to install Corel Linux on
it. The installation program starts but stops and reboots
before it gets far along enough to prompt me to do
anything. I understand that others have experienced this
problem with Corel.

The system is described at
	http://www.asus.com/products/desktop/t2-r-s/overview.htm

Central put in a Celeron D 335 (2.8GHz), WD 80 Gig hard
drive, 256 mb ram, and installed a liteon DVD/CD rewritable
drive from a burned out computer of mine.

The reason I want to install Corel is that I want to have
WordPerfect and I have not been able to install WP on my
other computer which has Mandrake 9.1. You guys helped me
set that computer up a couple of years ago. I have WP
which I bought from Cheapbytes. I'm hoping to upgrade the
Corel with Xandros.

If this makes any sense, let me know. I would like to talk
to you about this at the Robert Austin computer show or at
Rick's house. I won't show up if I don't hear from you.

Thanks.

Sincerely,
Paul Ross
