After having MPS for the first time in his new manor, Tam brings a small party of four to Perrin's attention. Tam rescued these people from a trolloc attack after they had entered Two Rivers. Tam knows nobility when he sees it despite them trying to cover it up. The innkeeper recognizes Perrin from Mistress Alys' party. After convuluted and ironic introductions, everyone finds out who everyone else is. Perrin pledges to be a vassal for Morgase, despite screeches coming from the direction of Faile, and vows to bring down this upstart Lord Gabriel saying something like "I'll take him down, I don't care how powerful he is. He could be one of the forsaken, and I'll still take care of him." Perrin and company clean up Two Rivers of trollocs and march on Camelyn gaining troops as he moves along.
Nynaeve comes out of Tel'aran'rhiod and discovers that the wilder that the Salidar AS found is in fact Moghy. They get into a fight. Birgette tries to help out Nynaeve but Moghy was watching and cuts her down. Gaid^H^H^H^H Logain comes upon the fight sees Birgette down and hits Moghy from behind. This doesn't take out Moghy but does distract her enought such that Nynaeve is able to cut her off from the Source. Everyone comes to see what the ruckus is and the Salidar AS demand that Nynaeve release the wilder. Elayne realizes that all the Salidar AS are under Moghy's influence. Elayne uses the element of surprise(and her large talent) to stun the AS, gather Nynaeve the captured Moghy, Thom, the thief-catcher, Birgette, Gaid^H^H^H^HLogain, and "travels" to the first place that comes to mind. Siuane Sanche points out to the Salidar AS what just happened. After almost killing SS and Leane(when Leane backs SS up) they realize what they had done but it was too late. Through all this, SS reinforces her behind the scenes control of the Salidar AS. Gareth Bryne after witnessing all this figures out what SS has been doing. He uses this information to blackmail SS into having MPS with him. Scouts come in and report a large army coming their way. Even the warders can't seem to get close enough to figure out who it is. The army turns out to be Rand's larger army coming to join him in Camelyn, led by Egwene. Using each other, Egwene gains control of the Salidar AS SS reinforces her control of the Salidar AS. We all know who is really in charge.
Rand, after contemplating a while and getting attacked a couple times by bubbles, decides to take a portion of his small army and Lord Bashir's army and "travel" to the land accross the ocean. Soon after arriving they find a noblewoman who complains of a new noble who has influence over everyone at the Court of the Nine Moons. The problem is that there hasn't been a new noble in centuries and by ther rigid cast system there can't be any new nobles. Rand thinks "Forsaken" and sets off for the Court of the Nine Moons. The noblewoman falls in love with Mat and they have MPS. Mat doesn't know what his feelings are. Rand discovers that she is the "Daugher of the Nine Moons" and tries to think of a way to break the news to Mat.
Elayne, Nynaeve, Birgette, Gaid^H^H^H^HLogain, Thom, the thief-cather, and the captured Moghy arrive in Camelyn just after Rand leaves. Having been given instructions to hand over the throne to Elayne, the Aeil left behind by Rand put her on the throne. Gaid^H^H^H^HLogain takes care of the hurt Birgette. Her wounds, though healed by Nynaeve, have left her weak. They have MPS anyways. Within days of arriving, two armies come knocking on either side of Camelyn.
