Okay... I'm writing my submission based only on the people I *know* are in the book, i.e., those on the cover. (Sweet hasn't missed on that yet, has he?) These are Rand, and, obviously, from the blonde hair, Egwene.
Rand, still reeling emotionally from the shock of Moiraine's death, combined with his ever increasing madness, decrees that Aes Sedai have betrayed him for the last time, and that any who come into his presence shall be killed by him immediately. Egwene calls him a woolhead in front of all the Aiel, for acting as thought Moiraine betrayed him by dying. He gets mad, and on the spot adds being called a woolhead to his death penalty list.
Time passes. Perrin isn't in the book, contrary to all rumors and anyone who's already read the thing, because Mr. Jordan misplaced his little wolf figurine and no longer remembers who the third ta'veren *is*! Meanwhile, Rand and (oh, why not, I'll go out on a limb and say Aviendha will be in the book too.) Aviendha fall more deeply in love, against the backdrop of the plot. Egwene goes to the White Tower and gets raised and/or Amyrlinised.
More time passes. (Oh, alright, maybe some other people *are* in the book.) Mat says something in the Old Tongue, and Nynaeve and Elayne get upset about the Tower-in-exile Aes Sedai, and also probably about men.
Finally, we come to the end of the book. Rand and Egwene have once again run into each other for the first time since the prologue. Rand is more insane than ever, probably because something bad happened. Also, maybe he killed a Forsaken. Upon seeing her:
Rand paused, and his eyes narrowed. "Egwene, what is that thing you have wrapped around your shoulders?" Egwene rolled her eyes. "It's my *shawl*, you woolhead! I got raised. Remember when I told you I was going to Tar Valon?" She shook her head. Honestly, Rand really neded to learn to pay more attention to her now. If he wasn't always so full of himself, he might already have realised she'd become Amyrlin. Coming back to herself, she looked closely at Rand's face. "What?" she asked a bit nervously. The word still hung in the air when death took her. <This being, of course, the Cover scene>
Well, that's it, Erica, hope there's no spoilers, these are only my fond dreams. Well, okay, Perrin can be in it. :)
