[sf-lug] installing linux on a chromebook

Hi John,
Lubuntu should be fine with 4GB, 2GB is min, but 25GB disk is also claimed
min.
Maybe add space on USB (/tmp, /opt, ... etc.).
Does swap count as memory? (awfully slow, but swap on USB should work).
The upgrade 25.10 to 26.04 can be forced with do-release-upgrade -d if you
don't want to wait for the 26.04.1 release.
If it a disk space problem, run the install to another USB, then copy the
new system to the internal SSD.
There should be a way, I've put lubuntu 16.04 onto a 1GB/8GB Intel Compute
Stick.
