I've created a next draft version:

It is not yet scheduled to be promoted to the main production page

however I've set it to be promoted to
https://www.sf-lug.org/index_beta.html
after what's there currently is promoted to the main production page.
Note also, that line of text giving the particular date of the next meeting
is in fact managed by update_meeting_schedule which is driven by
cron per the sflugwww's crontab:
$ hostname && id -un && crontab -l
balug-sf-lug-v2.balug.org
sflugwww
0,30 * * * * "$HOME"/bin/update_meeting_schedule >>/dev/null 2>&1; :

Anyway, have created updated version update_meeting_schedule.beta
which can be seen/inspected here:
https://www.sf-lug.org/~sflugwww/bin/update_meeting_schedule.beta
to replace the existing update_meeting_schedule, and shall schedule
replacement to occur after the current
https://www.sf-lug.org/index_alpha.html
has been promoted through
https://www.sf-lug.org/index_beta.html
and then (not yet scheduled) completed its promotion
to the main production web page.
