[sf-lug] Chromebooks

Today, my son Harley and my friend Roy visited  Straycap Makerspace in Hayward and met up with Les and Bill.  Together we loaded lubuntu 25.10 onto 40 (!) Dell 3180 Chromebooks.  These are the chromebooks which  already had ChromeOS removed and booted to the bunny prompt.  Guided by my three USB sticks, Roy’s two USB sticks  and a bunch of sticks from Les/Bill, we accomplished this feat in just under three hours.

I brought home 13 Chromebooks with adapters and Roy took one for himself. I am currently looking for a home for these Chromebooks.
