Hi LUGers,

Yes the next meeting is a week from Sunday
and if you can set up an in person meeting let us know.
Meantime we can expect to be at <https://meet.jit.si/sf-lug.org>
pushing the electrons around.

I have had a couple of serious incidents causing me to lose
a lot of personal files as well as loss of internet connections due
to a strange reconfiguration of network utilities. For over a decade
we used the same program inherited from Mandrake or Mandriva to get on
line and suddenly a new player was in town and it wiped away all the
network connection data. I made an effort to fix it but finally wiped
the / and re-installed. Then my arm jiggled and I accidentally sent
/home/bliss/Documents to Trash, I tried to copy it back but ended up
losing a lot of stuff anyway. Boo-hoo-hoo.

At Distrowatch.com some new stuff but not too much is out.
