As a reminder, if people want to send messages saying nothing more
substantive than "this is a test message", the server has a utility
mailing list called "test", for that precise purpose -- so that
content-free messages don't have to go out to hundreds of people.

Alternatively, one can think of someting interesting to subscribers, and
use it as a test message.
