If you do run such a test, might I also participate?  You'll remember 
that I was attending using my laptop for video but without audio (for 
which I needed to also attend 'by phone.')  I've since installed 
Debian/Xfce and would be interested to know if it provides the requisite 
(audio) functionality. (I don't know any other way I could test it.)
