[sf-lug] what is a good laptop to buy for Linux

HI Jim;
Lenovo Thinkpads love Linux...
Formerly IBM.
I have had them since IBM's original as well [which had windows].
'IF' you decide to go with them let me know there's a guy who was
maintaining a page
that fully 'vetted' them by model and let's you know what you should pay
for them.
Absolutely no problems with any I have had or have and I have partitioned
them, moved
all kinds of distros on and off of them, and run distros live via usb and
optical drives.
I am ONLY speaking of Thinkpads not other Lenovo boxes.
