[sf-lug] SF-LUG webmasters & ... Re: linuxmafia.com offline(!?) (SF-LUG list, ...) Re: SF-LUG Mailing list - late AM Tue 10/23/18

Well, ... I did hear that (at least) one of the five having
suitable access (hint - and someone other than me),
might make some suitable edits to the SF-LUG web home page
making some mention of linuxmafia.com status, notably around /
in connection with the SF-LUG list mention(s) on the SF-LUG home/main
web page, this A.M. (US/Pacific), at least if linuxmafia.com
continues to not be Internet accessible this A.M. (at least if/when
they get around to it and rechecking status).

Additional hints :-) ...:
$ hostname --fqdn; ls -ld . index.php; pwd -P
balug-sf-lug-v2.balug.org
drwxrwsr-x 2 root     sflugwww 4096 Mar 14  2018 .
-rw-r--r-- 1 sflugwww sflugwww 3902 Jul 18  2016 index.php
/var/www/www.sf-lug.org
$ dig +noall +answer +nottl balug-sf-lug-v2.balug.org. A
balug-sf-lug-v2.balug.org. AAAA
balug-sf-lug-v2.balug.org. IN   A       198.144.194.238
balug-sf-lug-v2.balug.org. IN   AAAA    2001:470:1f05:19e::2
$ ip a s | egrep 'inet(|6) (198\.144\.194\.238|2001:470:1f05:19e::2)'
     inet 198.144.194.238/29 brd 198.144.194.239 scope global eth0
     inet6 2001:470:1f05:19e::2/64 scope global
$

Hmmmm... I wonder too, as/so long as it's still php ... could wee bit
'o php code automagically update relevant status change? "Of course"
longer term is some crontab driven "static" web page, that would
automagically update specific upcomming/current meeting date
information ... but such a crontab job could likewise report
status (or conditionally if list not Internet accessible) ...
and maybe even for about how long such has persisted from earlier
checks. Well, ... on step at a time (and time/priorities ...).
In any case, I believe crontab driven static for SF-LUG web page
has been on the agenda / wish/task list for quite a while (and
fairly high up in the queue). And yep, ... 5 folks have the
requisite access ... but I'm not planning to do that task myself
(I do sufficient SF-LUG IT tasks as it is) ... so, hopin' one
(or more) of the other 4 will eventually get around to it.
