[sf-lug] RPi3 distro recommendation

Hey all, Am here at Cafe Enchante and wish to pose a question to the 
group; Any good recommendations for a user-friendly Linux distro to go 
onto a Raspberry Pi 3's microSD card??

The current default one I've used is a "properly" configured Raspbian 
distro onto a 32GB microSD as default /boot and full /(root) partitions
(no swap or /home parts.) Bobbie S just mentioned that Ubuntu is 
discontinuing RPi support and I'm not interested in using a full 
multimedia-center or server-type distro. FYI, it's more for one of them 
there "Winders" users.
