Directed mostly for Bobbie S and a few other "regular" SF-LUG mtg drop-by's.

FYI, Walgreens is apparently offering 3 packs of 8GB USB flash drives for
sale for $10 this week.
Quoting from page 3 of a local Walgreens Weekly Ad [1]

$9.99 with card

Redeem in store only
Valid 01/01 - 01/07
Expires in store at 11:59PM (local time)

• 8GB USB Click Flash Drive, 3 pk

Each separate 8GB stick therefore comes out to less
than $3.50 when purchased as a 3-pack.

While of course we could purchase similar-quality USB drives of similar
(or greater) capacity at greater bulk discounts _online_, this week's
above offer is available at probably _all_ our local (here in the SF Bay
Area), ubiquitous, brick-n-mortar Walgreens stores.

Many if not most Linux distros can each fit onto an 8 GB USB flash drive
such as these ones for "live" booting, and then leave over additional
space for persistent file storage.

Again, just presented here as an FYI.
