Y'all might want to have a look at some of the options on my 'VNC and
Similar' page:  There are a number of nice open source implementations
designed to be firewall-and-NAT friendly -- and the NX ones would surely
have a lot better performance than TeamViewer does.

As to NX clients for MS-Windows, I'm sure they exist, but you're on your
own.
