Well Fedora is the cutting edge of course but Mageia tried to
use a later kernel version but is no having fun. The Usenet newsgroup
is full of complaints and attempts to figure out what is going on.
The developers must be bothered. By the way seeing how Fedora
might function on older hardware lets people judge whether it
is going to be possible to continue without upgrades to hardware.
Besides the magazine supplied the 32 bit version which ordinarily

I downloaded it and made a CD of it, but it will be next week at
least before I can try it out.
