[sf-lug] has ubuntu caused me to regress in wifi features?

Sorry!

Selected output from lshw:

wireless chip: PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN [Kedron] Network Connection
configuration: broadcast=yes driver=iwl4965
driverversion=3.8.0-26-generic firmware=228.61.2.24 latency=0 link=no
multicast=yes wireless=IEEE 802.11abgn

Output from lsmod | grep 802:

mac80211              606457  2 iwl4965,iwlegacy
cfg80211              510937  3 iwl4965,iwlegacy,mac80211

I'm a little confused as to the role of iwl4965 and iwlegacy. I thought
they were both drivers. Why do I have both?

Thanks,
Michael
