[sf-lug] Desired: Recent CD of Ubuntu, LTS for Monday next for Asus eee 1000HE

Not only Xwindows but wifi and possibly a few
other sub-systems. Best thing, seems to me, is to
try a 10.04 live CD on it and see what happens.
My guess is that there are solutions that will
make things work, though I'm not guessing as to
how immediately.
