[sf-lug] Desired: Recent CD of Ubuntu, LTS for Monday next for Asus eee 1000HE

I think you might have problems with the X server defaults and the odd
screen size of the netbooks on the older distributions.  I think 9.10 was
the first dist that worked out of the box on my msi netbook.  Lucid would be
a long term supported release and would be what I recommend.
