[sf-lug] turn off all logs?

Is it possible to turn off all logs on a Linux machine? I am thinking
in the context of a system that uses a solid state drive (SD card or
USB stick) and logs are not necessary (i.e. we are not looking at the
logs at all). The possible outcome is that it would help with disk I/O
and perhaps increase the life of the solid state media, although that
doesn't seem to be much of a concern these days.

Pointers? Ideas?

cheers,
Sameer
