[sf-lug] small linux distro to serve static web pages?

Hey folks,

We've recently upgraded our environments to new load balancers, and one of
their capabilities is to redirect the browser to an "unavailable" page if
there are no web servers online in the load balancing pool. I need something
to serve up a basic HTML page stating that the system is down for
maintenance. Ideally it would play nicely under VMware, where it would be
running, and it needs no scripting capabilities. It seems like I am not the
only person with this kind of need and there might be some prefab solution
out there. Any ideas/suggestions?
