Most of the Debian documentation (including the Debian documentation that 
has flowed into Ubuntu) is available as packages in the Debian (and, 
therefore, Ubuntu) archives.

Try looking at http://packages.ubuntu.com/apt-howto or 
http://packages.debian.org/apt-howto , at your option.
