hi,

I have just started using Linux, and so I wanted to say hi.  I got two
computers for my two kids from neighbors who threw out their old computers
because they had viruses.  I heard that the Ubuntu brand was easy to use.  A
teacher friend of mine from Oakland gave me a CD with Ubuntu on it, and it
was fairly easy to install.

I work at an SF hotel, and I am married with two kids, and so I will only
have time to pop in occasionally on this list.  But I thought I would say
hi.
