I run Ubuntu with my 27in Sharp LCD Using the DVI output its aweasome. One warning though, the TV will only support certain screen ratio's so you might want to check that out first.

I guess I just assumed that this list was for the Linux community. I
tend to trust our community members over many other groups in the
world, because they are usually well-educated and motivated toward
research. If you want to strictly ban anything unrelated to Linux,
that is fine. Now, to make my post Linux-relevant, if anyone has
suggestions for running Linux on an LCD TV please let me know :-P
