Reminds me, what's really worked well in the past is to slip a 1/4 sheet
printout "blurb" with some really concise and friendly information
about what this is, what to do ("just boot it"), and where to go next 
(list of URLs).

You can request online via https://shipit.ubuntu.com/ .  Be aware that
there's about a two-month lead time.  (Personally, I tend to just get a
cheap stack of blanks and burn 'em.)
