SF-LUG meets again, Monday, 5/15, at the Javacat
cafe from 6:00 till 8:00. I'm gonna ask the owner if
we can put in a machine we can build, configure,
play on; maybe I'll have an answer by Monday nite.
Poll: in the sf-lug email are you interested in reading about
1. consumer applications (audio, photo, video...)
2. graphics (image editors, diagrammers, painters...)
3. writing (word processors, grammar and style programs...)
4. databases (in all their various glories)
5. web design (technologies that support page composition, look and
feel)
6. web development (programmatic and IT support)
7. job postings (for their amusement value, for edification, 'cause
you're broke)
8. linux kernel and module info (for installation and configuration)
9. installation in general (drivers, partitioning strategies...)
10. distro comparisons (RedHat vs Debian vs ...)
11. community-related (jabber, linux-picnic, trips places...)
12. IT technologies (trends such as SOA, networking products...)
13. what we sf-luggers are doing
other. Lemme know
Me, i'm interested most in 7, 9, 12, 13 and also 1, 6, 11.
You?
